Stephanie Elliott, Volt Consulting Group's Chief Operating Officer, has been recognized as one of the Global Power 100 Women in Staffing, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.
Elliott is an industry leader and seasoned staffing executive. She started her career at Volt in Finance and has worked in senior-level roles in both Europe and the United States. With an MA from the American University of Paris and more than 20 years of industry operations and leadership experience, Elliott has built a reputation on her deep experience and knowledge of multiple staffing regions. She spent six years in London, building Volt's European and Asian staffing and MSP businesses, before becoming COO at Volt Consulting Group in 2012.
Elliott was also recognized by SIA as one of the Staffing 100, a list of the 100 most influential people in the staffing industry, in 2013. She also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of VMC, the IT outsourcing solutions business of Volt Information Sciences.

Mr. Tomkins brings over 20 years of finance expertise to Volt Information Sciences. Most recently, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Reader’s Digest Association, Inc., where he oversaw all aspects of finance and accounting and played an integral role in managing a number of important non-core business divestitures.

Prior to his role at Reader’s Digest, Mr. Tomkins spent 27 years at AT&T, where he most recently served as the Vice President and Controller of AT&T Business Solutions and previously held a number of other strategic planning and financial management positions. Mr. Tomkins is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the NJ Society of CPAs. He earned his MBA with an emphasis in International Finance from Seton Hall University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rider College.

MSP providers were rated on the breadth of their service, program size under management, and the quality of service provided by the MSP. Participation in HRO's survey was limited to HR and Procurement professionals who are current buyers of MSP services. The MSP Baker's Dozen list, which is published in HRO Today magazine, ranks the top providers in the MSP industry. The magazine will highlight the results in its May 2014 issue. The survey results produced an elite group of 13 MSP providers that excelled in all areas measured by HRO Today.

Bryan Berndt has joined Volt Information Sciences as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.
Bryan comes to Volt from Reader’s Digest Association, where he served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to his role at Reader’s Digest, Bryan spent four years at Bowne & Co. as Treasurer and Vice President of Finance. He brings more than 20 years of accounting and finance expertise to his role at Volt, with an extensive background in accounting, SEC reporting, and investor relations. Paul Tomkins, Volt’s recently appointed CFO, said, “I have worked with Bryan for several years during his tenure at Reader’s Digest. Bryan’s integrity, expertise, and qualifications for this role are outstanding, and I am pleased that he has made a decision to join all of us at Volt.
